The Great Hunger: Rave Review – A tale of heroism in the time of hardships

The team over at Cult Critic Magazine reviewed GlobalWatch Films’ historical epic screenplay The Great Hunger. Co-written by double Academy Award nominee Roland Joffé, Man Booker Prize winner Thomas Keneally, international award winning producer/writer Paul G. Andrews and internationally acclaimed author and screenwriter Meg Keneally, The Great Hunger is set amidst the Great Potato Famine in Ireland and follows a young peasant girl’s struggles to keep her family alive all while falling in love with two very different men, one bent on revolution.
